Sure he was poor, with a worn out sole... but that was no reason to reject him. What to do with the world famous "boot room"? I've seen so many takes on this odd room that still has workman's boots in it 50 years after teh breaker closed. So this is my shot for what it's worth, lol. This was my first visit to an abandoned coal breaker in the western middle fields of central Pennsylvania's anthracite coal country. I arrived there just before sun up and shot throught the early morning. Taken with a Panasonic G5 (DMC-G5) and Olympus 9-18mm lens.
