Another shot of the gears that ran the grinder/mixer at the brick factory in Black Lick. For you Fuji fans, this was shot with the X-E2 and Fujinon10-24mm f/4 lens. I shot it at f/11 and did the HDR merges from JPG rather than RAW to take advantage of Fuji's "Lens Modulation Optimizer". Some people don't understand that this is a mathematical model of the lens that allows blur due to diffraction at small apertures to be computed away so the full sharpness is restored. It works using deconvolution and don't ask me to explain it as I barely understood it when I thought I understood it, and now I don't understand it at all, lol. Regardless, using the built in JPG converter in the camera with deconvolution resulted in bitingly sharp images to feed to post processing.
