First off: this is an HDR made up from 3 jpg files in the Velvia simulation mode of the X100. I reallly like the way it looks I must say. This scene is SO far beyond what a slide exposure or single digital exposure could capture.
This is the tomb of a "scarfing robot" that cleaned the surface of 10 inch thick steel slabs using a huge oxy-fuel torch. The empty enclosure was it's "brain box" showing that robots are basically treated in death a lot like Egyptian mummies -- the vital organs were removed...
